ArtWalk at the Shores 2026
I grew up among the fruit trees in Fairfax, the old world of Hollywood and the idyllic neighborhood of Glendale. I painted portraits for the tourists in Pacific Ocean Park, graduated from Hollywood High, worked at Woolworths, Newberrys, Broadway and Fredricks of Hollywood, was an usherette at The Pantages and a glove salesgirl at the old May Co, now home of the Motion Picture Academy Museum. I hold an MFA from Otis Art Institute and worked as a designer at the LA Times. I now live in Port Hueneme.California is my history, and I love to translate my history through historic urban scenes with a whimsical touch. I hope my paintings bring viewers a moment of joy, nostalgia, and a fresh appreciation for the world around us.
