Having lived very close to the ocean my entire life, I am to this day still fascinated

by the ever changing moods of our local waters. The color shifts due currents and wind direction, the epic waves and the amazing spectrums of our winter sunsets are all truly something to behold. Combining all this with the backdrop of our picturesque Channel Islands were all the main reasons I started painting a little over a year and a half ago. I have dedicated most of my painting to the many beach destinations that make Ventura County such a special place.
